Playing the Virtual competition is easy. Once you’ve registered, all you need to do is log in each week during the competition and predict the winning teams and right margins for each round of games.

Logging in
If you have trouble logging in – First check you are entering the correct username and password (the password is case sensitive), if this fails click on the lost password link, this will re-set your password and send it to you via your email address. If this still doesn’t work or you don’t receive an email with your new password email dave@nzvirtualsport.com with the details of your problem.

My Mates
You can add people who are playing in the competition that you know to your “My Mates” page. To do this you can search for their name or their email address, then click add when the results come up on the screen, for your convenience I have added all people who have the same email address domain as you, to that list so you can choose to add them if you want.

Make Your Picks
Click on the “make you picks” link to make your selections each week- the current weeks games will be displayed. You have until 1 hour before the Game starts to save your picks (displayed on the left of the screen) for that game. If you would like the computer to make the picks for you- just don’t make any selections and the computer will place random choices for you. You can see the results of each team by clicking on the “View Pools” link, once the competition starts.

Scoreboard
To review your choices made and see the points awarded (once the game is played) click on the “Scoreboard” link.

Hall of Fame
To see a list of rankings of all the players in the competition click on the “Hall of Fame” link. Your team name will be highlighted. You can get a smaller list by adding people to your mates list.

View Pools
To see a list of all the teams in the Competition with the win/loss and points statistics, click on the “View Pools” link.

Other Competitions
The competitions list will show all current competitions, along with a “join” link if active. Simply click the link to join in the fun. The competitions games will then be displayed in your Make your picks page.
